A home built for discovery at massive scale.

We redesigned the MoviePass home around what moviegoers actually do first: browse what is new, see what is playing nearby, and decide fast. Featured titles, New Releases, and Now Playing became the spine of a dark, cinematic interface tuned for millions of daily sessions.

Personalization that starts on day one.

Before users ever hit the home feed, the app learned what they love. A guided onboarding flow captured genres, talent, and previously watched films through simple tap and hold gestures, then curated content around each member's taste.

  • Build a talent profile from actors and directors you follow
  • Mark films you have seen to sharpen recommendations
  • Land on a curated home once the profile is complete

From match score to showtime to the night of the show.

The redesign connected discovery to action. Members saw match scores and local screens on the home feed, picked showtimes at their preferred theater, and arrived with scheduled showtime details, directions, and theater information already in hand.
